Tested Against What You Actually Shoot.
The 3-D Action Target is independently shot-tested across the SA-common calibre range. Numbers below are average rounds-to-retirement on a single target. Your mileage depends on round distribution; centre-mass tight groupings reduce service life faster than spread shooting.

Before You Order.
Can I buy the stand and the kill pack separately?
Yes — both are sold individually (R1,190 for the stand, R125 for a 5-pack of Kill Packs) or as part of the Range Bundle with the target. The stand is universal for any Guns & Tactics 3-D target. Kill Packs work with every target we sell.
Can I shoot it with a rifle?
Yes — rifle rounds are no problem. But repeated shotgun use will drastically reduce the target's lifespan due to the wider impact spread.
What happens when it wears out?
You'll see deep cavities where the material can no longer self-seal — usually centre-mass first. At that point the target still functions, but accuracy of impact location starts to suffer. Most customers retire a target between 3,000 and 5,000 rounds depending on the calibre mix.
Does it work outdoors?
Yes. UV exposure will gradually fade the surface over years but does not affect ballistic performance. We recommend storing under cover when not in use.
How is it shipped?
Standard delivery anywhere in South Africa within 5 business days. Free shipping on orders of 3+ units. For international orders (rest of Africa), please contact us — we ship to most SADC countries.
Where is the ammunition going?
Our 3-D Target is designed so ammunition travels cleanly through the target instead of getting lodged inside. This reduces damage build-up, prevents rounds from stacking internally, and allows for more realistic, continuous training.
Is there a warranty?
The standard Guns & Tactics two-year warranty applies. It covers manufacturing defects (e.g. failed glue joints) but not ballistic wear, which is normal use.
